Mission
Our mission is to develop practical educational tools that can be used to help students in topics that traditionally can prove difficult in interesting, interactive, and intuitive ways!
Project Description
We created a website with visualization tools to assist young students in learning mathematical concepts. The "Funky Fraction" tool helps graphically explain the relationship between a numerator and a denominator in a fraction, and the "Terrific Triangle" tool lets students visually understand the realtionship between an angle and how it influences a triangle's geometry (acute, right, obtuse). All of the visualization tools are written in Javascript using the Processing library, while the website is written using HTML/CSS with certain elements from the Semantic UI framework.
